What in-home ABA looks like in Anaheim Hills
A behavior technician comes to your home for scheduled sessions, usually several times a week, and works with your child on the goals in their treatment plan: communication, play, daily routines, and the behaviors that get in the way. A supervising BCBA observes regularly, adjusts the plan from the data, and coaches you so the strategies carry on between sessions.
Because the office is minutes away, we can be flexible about session times, including after school and Saturday mornings. Read our guide to what the first session looks like and how in-home compares with a center.
Working with Anaheim Hills schools
Most Anaheim Hills families are served by the Orange Unified School District, and some by Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified. Your district provides special education through an IEP; your health plan covers ABA. They are separate systems, and you are entitled to both at the same time.
With your written consent we share goals and progress data with your school team and can take part in IEP meetings. Our guide to IEPs in California explains how to request an evaluation and what to ask for.
Families can also work with the Regional Center of Orange County for service coordination, respite, and early intervention for children under three, at no charge for intake.
Common questions from Anaheim Hills families
Do you provide in-home ABA therapy in Anaheim Hills?
Yes. Anaheim Hills is where our main office is, at 155 North Riverview Drive in the 92808 ZIP code, so it is the area we reach fastest. Sessions happen in your home, in the community and, where it helps, at your child's school. Telehealth parent coaching is available too.
Which schools do you work with in Anaheim Hills?
Most Anaheim Hills families are served by the Orange Unified School District, and some by Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified. With your written consent we share goals and progress with your child's school team and can take part in IEP meetings. School services and insurance-funded ABA are separate, so you can pursue both.
Does insurance cover ABA therapy in Anaheim Hills?
In most cases yes. California requires state-regulated health plans to cover behavioral health treatment for children with an autism diagnosis. We are in network with Anthem Blue Cross and Aetna and welcome private-pay families. We check your benefits and handle the authorization paperwork.
How soon can my child start?
We do not run a waitlist. Once your child's diagnosis and physician referral are in place, the start date depends on insurance authorization rather than on our capacity. Call (657) 678-9020 and we will give you a realistic timeline on the first conversation.
Can we visit the office?
Yes, by appointment. Most of our work happens in families' homes, which is where skills are needed and where they stick, but we are glad to meet you at the Anaheim Hills office for an intake conversation or a parent training session.
